羅新興校長

 

羅新興教授現為健行科技大學室內設計與管理系教授,兼任學禮書院院長暨代理校長。羅教授畢業於國立臺灣大學,取得商學博士學位,主修組織行為,並具人力資源管理專長。早年畢業於陸軍軍官學校,曾於軍中服務二十餘年,上校軍階退役。退役後投入高等教育領域,長期從事管理教育、組織行為、人力資源管理及研究方法等課程之教學與研究。

 

羅教授於健行科技大學服務二十餘年,歷任學務長、總務長、管理學院院長、主任秘書等重要行政職務,長期參與校務發展、行政管理與組織治理工作。自2026年6月8日起兼任代理校長,肩負校務穩定發展與校長遴選過渡期間之責任,持續推動校務發展、提升辦學品質,並致力於促進行政與教學單位之協調合作,落實學校永續發展目標。

 

在教學方面,羅教授長期教授管理學、人力資源管理、組織行為、研究方法等課程,具有二十餘年研究方法教學經驗,深受學生肯定。近年積極推動人工智慧融入教學,結合學思達教學法與生成式人工智慧工具,協助學生提升自主學習能力、批判思考能力與表達能力,並持續投入教學創新與教學實踐研究。

 

在研究方面,羅教授專長於組織行為、人力資源管理、甄選與評量、組織決策及研究方法等領域,研究成果發表於Journal of Social Psychology、Motivation and Emotion、管理學報、組織與管理及人力資源管理學報等國內外重要學術期刊。其學術研究品質屢獲學界肯定,曾榮獲中華民國管理科學學會暨台灣組織與管理學會年會傑出論文獎,以及聯華電子經營管理論文獎等重要學術獎項,兼具理論深度與實務應用價值。

 

羅教授長期關注教育的本質與大學的社會責任,深信大學不僅是傳授專業知識的場所,更是培育品格、責任感與終身學習能力的重要基地。其教育理念強調誠信、關懷、服務與實踐,並以健行科技大學「好學有禮」校訓作為教育實踐的重要依歸,期望協助學生建立專業能力、人文素養與社會責任感,成為兼具知識、品格與服務精神的優秀人才。

 


 

Professor Hsin-Hsing Lo is a Professor in the Department of Interior Design and Management at Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, and concurrently serves as Dean of Xueli College and Acting President. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from National Taiwan University with a specialization in Organizational Behavior and expertise in Human Resource Management. Prior to entering academia, he graduated from the Republic of China Military Academy and served in the military for more than twenty years, retiring with the rank of Colonel.

 

Professor Lo has served at Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology for more than two decades. He has held key administrative positions, including Dean of Student Affairs, Director of General Affairs, Dean of the College of Management, and Secretary-General. Since June 8, 2026, he has concurrently served as Acting President, promoting institutional development, educational quality, and sustainable university governance.

 

In teaching, Professor Lo has taught Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Research Methods for many years. With more than twenty years of experience in teaching research methodology, he has earned strong recognition from students. In recent years, he has actively promoted the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching, combining the Sharestart approach with generative AI tools to enhance students’ self-directed learning, critical thinking, and communication skills.

 

Professor Lo’s research expertise includes organizational behavior, human resource management, selection and assessment, organizational decision-making, and research methodology. His work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Social Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, Journal of Management, Journal of Organization and Management, and Human Resource Management Journal. His research excellence has been recognized through Distinguished Paper Awards from the Chinese Management Association and the Taiwan Academy of Management, as well as the UMC Management Research Award.

 

Professor Lo is deeply committed to the mission of higher education and the social responsibility of universities. He believes that universities should cultivate not only professional knowledge but also character, responsibility, and lifelong learning. Guided by the university motto, “Diligence in Learning and Courtesy in Conduct,” he strives to help students develop professional competence, humanistic values, and social responsibility, becoming individuals who embody knowledge, character, and a spirit of service.
